Oak Harbor Students Provided Free Discovery Flights
In partnership with Cascade Warbirds and Delaurentis Airport, the Oak Harbor High School Flight Club students participated in discovery flights or introductory flights in the front and back seat of the airplane. The students received free flight training from Former Navy Chief Michael Watkins, who is a certified commercial flight and ground instructor and well-known local pilot.  The opportunity was open to students in the community and also had participation from Coupeville High School, North Whidbey Middle School and home schooling programs as well.

Save a life and get swabbed this Saturday, June 1, from 1 to 5 PM at North Whidbey Middle School.  The Exceptional Academy and North Whidbey Middle School leadership students have partnered to promote this important event. The life-saving donation has benefited our own teachers and community members!

Swabs are the first part of the donation process to join a donor registry for blood stem cells (PBSC) or bone marrow to treat life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. We hope you can find time on Saturday to help find potential donors!
