June 4: Oak Harbor High School Prom  

Oak Harbor High School is seeking between 15 and 20 volunteers to chaperone the Senior Prom. All volunteers for this event must be at least 21 years of age. Volunteers are requested to dress in business casual attire.

Time: 7:30 pm until 11:30 pm

June 7: Broad View Elementary School (BVE) Color Run

Come be a part of this day of outdoor fun and games for the students! They could use ## volunteers to help with marking laps and working the color station. 

Time: 12:30 pm to 3:20 pm

June 10: Crescent Harbor Elementary School Field Day

We are super excited for Field Day this year, but we need your help! We need volunteers to help run the stations as well as assist with snacks. There will be two shifts available; 9:15 am to 11:30 am (2 – 4th grades), and 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm for K – 1st grade). 

Time: 2 Shifts (9:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm)
Need: 25 volunteers per shift

June 11: Oak Harbor Elementary School (OHE) Field Day

OHE is looking for 10 to 20 volunteers to help run stations for the various games the kids will get to enjoy. There will be two shifts, volunteer for one or both.

Time: 9:10 am to 11:00 am & 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

June 12: Broad View Elementary School (BVE) Field Day

Come be a part of this day of outdoor fun and games for the students! BVE is requesting 15 volunteers per shift (2 shifts) to help supervise students at stations where they will be doing activities such as tug-of-war, sack races, water games, etc.

Time: 9:00 am to 10:45 am (K-2nd Grade) and 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm (3rd/4th Graders)
Need: 15 volunteers per shift

June 12: Oak Harbor Elementary School Color Run

OHE PTA presents Color Run! This event will be fun for everyone, and we are in need of extra help to make it a success. We need volunteers to help setup, help with crowd control, and cleanup. There will be three shifts available; Sensory Run from 12:00 pm-12:30 pm 2nd-4th grades from 12:45 pm-1:45 pm, and TK-1st grades 1:50 pm - 2:50 pm. 

Time: 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm, and 1:50 pm to 2:50 pm  
Need: 19 Volunteers per shift

June 13: Olympic View Elementary School Field Day

Olympic View Elementary School is having their annual field day and would like volunteers to help with events and monitoring students as they enjoy the day. OVE would like 15 volunteers per shift (2 shifts).

June 14: Hillcrest Elementary School Field Day

Hillcrest Elementary is hosting a Field Day for students on 6/14 that will include games and fun activities for students. HCE would like 20 volunteers for each of the two shifts (K-1st grade – 9:30 – 11:00 am and 2nd/3rd/4th grades – 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm). Volunteers must be cleared with a valid OHPS volunteer badge to participate. 

Time: Shift 1 (K-1st Grade) 9:15 am to 11:00 am, Shift 2 (2nd/3rd/4th Grades) 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
Need: 20 volunteers per shift

June 14: Oak Harbor Elementary High-Five Friday (Last of the School Year!!)

Oak Harbor Elementary does a “High-Five Friday” once a month to give high-fives and cheer students on as they enter school that day. I have created a SignUpGenius just so we know how many people to expect, but volunteers for this event do not need to be cleared and/or have a volunteer badge.

June 15: Oak Harbor High School Class of 2023 Commencement Ceremony

Oak Harbor High School is seeking between 20 volunteers to help as seating attendants, gate attendants, parking lot attendants, stand assistants, cap and gown attendants, and rovers for their upcoming class of 2024 graduation ceremony. We are asking that Navy personnel who volunteer come to the event in service uniform, but appropriate civilian attire is also acceptable.

Time: 10:00 am until approximately 3:00 pm
Need: 20 volunteers
Place: Oak Harbor High School’s Stadium

June 17: Oak Harbor Intermediate School Field Day

Oak Harbor Intermediate is having their annual Field Day, come be a part of this day of outdoor fun and games for the students! We need between 12 and 15 volunteers per shift (2 shifts) to help run stations for the various games the kids will get to enjoy.  Volunteer for one or both shifts to help with setup, chaperoning, and cleanup.

June 20: North Whidbey Middle School 8th Grade Field Day

North Whidbey Middle School is looking for 10-15 volunteers to help setup, chaperone, and break down for the 8th Grade Field Day as part of their moving to high school celebration. These are very fun events where students get to interact outside of class and recess. Volunteers can enjoy food and beverage during the event.

June 20: North Whidbey Middle School 8th Grade Evening Dance

North Whidbey Middle School is looking for 10-15 volunteers to help setup, chaperone, and break down for the 8th Grade Evening Dance as part of their moving to high school celebration. These are very fun events where students get to interact outside of class and recess. Volunteers can enjoy food and beverage during the event. Attire is business casual.

June 21: Crescent Harbor Elementary School Last Day of School Activities

Crescent Harbor Elementary School students are going to be doing some fun activities on the last day of school, including signing each other’s yearbooks and eating popsicles. CHE is requesting some volunteers to help with student supervision on that day from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
