At Oak Harbor Public Schools, our Mission is to provide a challenging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and fulfill their potential. This endeavor requires teamwork between our educators, families, and community. Here in our community, all make important contributions to ensuring students grow.
That's why our promise is Learning for Life.
One of the many things that set our schools apart is the skill and dedication of our staff – 70% of our teachers hold at least a master's degree. And we offer a full spectrum of learning options, from Highly Capable programs to early learning and special education. Students will also find the resources they need to succeed in our classrooms; advanced technology, including Smart Boards, Chromebooks, updated computers, current curriculum, and the latest learning tools.
In 2019 the district was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Green Ribbon School, joining our own Broad View Elementary (2018) and Hillcrest Elementary (2015).
