At Oak Harbor Public Schools, our Mission is to provide a challenging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and fulfill their potential. This endeavor requires teamwork between our educators, families, and community. Here in our community, all make important contributions to ensuring students grow.
That's what makes us #OneOakHarbor
Oak Harbor Public Schools is the largest school district on Whidbey Island, serving nearly 6000 students. We have one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, five elementary schools, a virtual academy, a homeschool partnership, an early learning center, a transitional post-high school program, and alternative learning options to meet the diverse needs of our student scholars.
Students will find the resources they need to succeed in our classrooms; advanced technology, including Smart Boards, Chromebooks, updated computers, current curriculum, and the latest learning tools. Our students also enjoy many enrichment opportunities and added support, thanks in part to local support of school levies. In 2019, Oak Harbor Public Schools received a federal highlight as a US Department of Education Green Ribbon School which recognizes our district’s sustainability practices.
