What it Means to be #OneOakHarbor
Oak Harbor Public Schools provides a challenging, supportive, and innovative learning environment where all students are empowered to thrive and reach their fullest potential. This endeavor requires teamwork between our educators, families, and community and we all make important contributions to ensure students succeed.
As the largest school district on beautiful Whidbey Island, we serve over 5,400 students. We have one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, five elementary schools, a virtual academy, a homeschool partnership, an early learning center, a transitional post-high school program, and alternative learning options to meet the diverse needs of our student scholars.
Our foundations are strong teaching and learning systems, family and community partnerships, fiscal integrity and state of the art facilities, and culture of inclusion, safety and belonging.
Students will find the resources they need to succeed in our classrooms; advanced technology, including Smart Boards, Chromebooks, updated computers, current curriculum, and the latest learning tools. Our students also enjoy many enrichment opportunities and added support, thanks in part to local support of school levies.
