OHPS Budget & Finances

The Business Services Department is responsible for development of the annual budget and four-year budget forecast.  The School Board of Directors adopts the budget by Resolution before the start of each school year.  Prior to adopting the budget, the public is invited to review proposals and participate in a formal hearing.

In alignment with the foundations of our strategic plan, we are committed to ensuring Oak Harbor Public Schools maintains strong fiscal integrity and state of the art facilities.

In 2024, The Washington State Auditor’s Office presented Oak Harbor Public Schools with the State Auditor’s Stewardship Award  for outstanding stewardship and responsible management of public funds.
