Payment Information

Parents prepay for meals, with the cost of meals deducted from each child's account. When the account gets low, a balance slip is emailed home to give parents notice as to the balance of funds available. An automated reminder on Family Skyward Access can be set up. Additionally, a phone message reminder on a low balance may be made.

Manage Payments

We are pleased to offer a service for families and students called e~Funds for Schools. This user-friendly program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make meal payments online. Parents can pay fees by having funds electronically withdrawn from their checking account, credit card, or debit card. e-Funds For Schools is a secure service provider. There is no service fee for families. You may need to check your spam folder for emails related to your e~Funds account.

Inactive student accounts can be paid by selecting Continue as Guest. Make sure to indicate the student name on the Student’s Name line.

Meal Charge Guidelines

Our school nutrition program ensures that all students have access to nutritious meals, even if their meal account balance is insufficient. Students can charge meals for lunch and breakfast, and they will continue to receive meals even with a negative balance. Families are encouraged to monitor account balances through the online portal, and notifications will be sent when balances fall below $0. Prompt repayment of charges is expected, and information about free and reduced-price meals is available for those in need. Importantly, no student will be denied graduation or participation in ceremonies due to unpaid meal charges. We are committed to treating all students with respect, and staff are prohibited from shaming or stigmatizing students for meal debts. For more information, please contact the school nutrition office.  Details regarding our meal charge guidelines are below.

  • These are guidelines for managing meal charges within our school nutrition program, ensuring that all students have access to nutritious meals while maintaining the financial integrity of our food service operations. These guidelines aligns with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines and the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

Our school nutrition program is committed to serving all students healthy meals. These guidelines outline the procedures for meal charges and the process for addressing unpaid charges.

    • Students may charge meals if their account balance is insufficient.
    • Charging is permitted for lunch and breakfast only. Students will not be able to purchase a la cart or snack bar items if the purchase would further decrease the account.
    • If a student’s meal account balance becomes negative, students will continue to receive a reimbursable meal to ensure essential nutrition is provided.
    • Families are encouraged to regularly monitor their child’s meal account balance through the online portal.
    • Notifications will be sent when balances fall below $0.
    • Families are expected to repay charged meals promptly. Payments can be made through the online portal, by check, or in cash.
    • These guidelines will be communicated to all families and available on the district website.
    • Families will receive reminders about outstanding balances and the importance of maintaining positive account balances.

    • Reasonable efforts will be made to collect unpaid meal charges without negatively impacting students.
    • Negative accounts may carry over into the next school year if not settled.
