As part of the district’s health curriculum and to fulfill a graduation requirement, students are taught about sexual health and HIV/AIDS prevention. The teaching of HIV/AIDS prevention is required by the state each year beginning in the fifth grade. You can learn more about our curriculum in the links below:
Parent Rights & Additional InformationParents may choose to exclude their child from either sexual health or HIV/AIDS education by reviewing the district presentation previewing instructional materials, and submitting the form.
