The Star Employee, Substitute, Volunteer or Community Partner of the Year awards recognize individual staff members and volunteers who demonstrate one or more of the Oak Harbor Public Schools Core Values: Academic Excellence, Inclusion & Belonging and Collaboration. .

Each year employees are encouraged to nominate a colleague or community partner who has shown superior service to our schools this academic year.

Winners will be selected by a committee of peers and a parent/guardian in our schools at the beginning of May. The winners will then be recognized in front of their peers and at a school board meeting in June.
