Oak Harbor Public Schools is preparing for a major information system upgrade: transitioning from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Qmlativ in April 2027. The shift will improve how we manage student information, payroll, finance, and human resources.

What’s Next?

The district staff most closely associated with this migration are working through a multiphased process for as smooth a transition as possible for staff and families. Frequent users of the system will be working closely with the district lead team as we develop timelines, refine data needs, and outline training.

Once more concrete plans have been finalized, all staff will receive regular updates, including details about training opportunities, system previews, and what to expect for each phase of the transition and implementation. There will be opportunities to provide input and ask questions along the way.
