Apply for Free & Reduced-Priced Meals!

Don’t forget to apply for free & reduced-price meals for the new school year! Even if you’re not sure you’ll qualify, it’s important to apply every year to keep your benefits and avoid any gaps or potential meal debt.  Students eligible for free meals will receive one breakfast and one lunch per day. With supplemental funding from the State of Washington, students eligible for reduced-priced meals will also receive one breakfast and one lunch per day for no cost.

How to Apply
The applications are now available online in Skyward Family Access.  You only need to fill out one application for all of the members of your family. Here's how to apply online:
  1. Visit Skyward Family Access. Enter your login and password the school has provided. If you need your account information, please call your school.
  2. Select Food Service on the left side of the screen
  3. Choose a Child  
  4. Select the Applications Tab
  5. Click Add Application
  6. Follow the instructions on the left-hand side of the screen. Instructions are listed on each page. Click the Next button at the top of each page to be sure you are completing all the required steps.
Fill it Out So No One Gets Left Out!
Students attending certain schools may receive no cost meals even if not eligible for free or reduced meals.  To learn more about the eligible schools that will have free meals for all this upcoming school year,  please go to our website. Even if your student's school receives free meals, applications must still be submitted by all families every year too maintain the program for future years. Early application submissions also ensures schools qualify for state or federal programs that are determined by free and reduced percentages.

Additional School Meal Information
If students do not attend an eligible school, or do not qualify for free or reduced meals, the district prices for breakfast and lunch are posted here. Second meals are also available at the posted prices. Don’t forget to set up e-Funds and turn on negative balance notices to monitor your account balance.
