Transportation Update

The BusRight logo features a yellow bus icon inside a yellow circle, with the text 'BusRight' in white.

Stay Informed about your student's Bus Route with BusRight

Bus stop times can change at any time for a variety of reasons including construction, weather-related issues, unavoidable traffic, and more.

Oak Harbor Public Schools uses an app called BusRight that allows parents to keep track of your student's school bus route to and from school directly from your smartphone. The BusRight app allows you to, in real-time, follow your student's bus route to and from school, view alternative snow routes, receive notifications when the bus begins and ends its route, and view the expected arrival time at your student's designated bus stop.

You will still receive notifications via ParentSquare of any significant delays from the Transportation Department. If you have any questions about your student's route or bus, please contact our transportation department at 360-279-5570.

Looking Forward to the Best Year Ever!

Ms. Sahlin's First Graders at Broad View Elementary read the book One Word for Kids by Jon Gordon, Dan Britton and Jimmy Page and discussed words and mindsets that could help us to have the best year ever. Students then chose their own word that would help them focus on growing and having a great year in first grade.
